The Czechs have a proud World Cup lineage and a fanbase that never stops believing. Qualification secured, the Czech Republic joins the party in North America ready to prove that European football runs deeper than the continent's elite.
🇨🇩 DR Congo
History made. The Leopards of DR Congo end a 52-year World Cup absence with a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Jamaica. African football keeps growing — and DR Congo's return to the world stage is a moment the entire continent can celebrate.
🇮🇶 Iraq
The Lions of Mesopotamia are back at the World Cup for the first time in four decades. Iraq defeated Bolivia 2-1 in a dramatic final to claim the very last spot in the tournament. An extraordinary achievement for a nation that has overcome everything to reach this moment. The world cup is better with Iraq in it.
